Remi and his team have done three jobs for us. They've re-pointed the whole house, created a large raised patio with bespoke sleeper flower beds and they have completely remodelled our downstairs WC including creating a handcrafted under-stair cupboard in keeping with the 1930's style of the house. Exactly as per the brief.

Every job has been done to the highest standard and with utmost attention to detail.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Iwanski Design Co. and we have already recommended them to several friends. We will definitely be using them again too!

I had Iwanski sort my bathroom out. They ripped out and installed a brand new bathroom to a high quality. Paul, who priced it, was there everyday before 8am on site working alongside the plumber. The old bathroom was like your nan's bathroom from the 80s but they have provided me with a sleek and modern design, fit for a bachelor, and at an affordable price. We had some small issues, but they came out and resolved it fairly quickly and no job was too hard for them. I would definitely consider Iwanski again and get a quote from them. I will be having them come back to do my ceilings.

Iwanski Design Co were recommended to us by an acquaintance who he had done some work for previously. Remi came to see us and we discussed what we wanted doing. He advised on what would work best and was possible based on our requirements.

Based on the previous recommendation, Remi’s visit and a properly itemised and well laid out estimate, we decided to engage Iwanski Designs for our project. Remi and his team are currently carrying out a full house renovation for us on a 1930’s semi in Isleworth. Work includes; knocking through the kitchen and dining room, knocking through upstairs toilet and bathroom, build downstairs cloaks under the stairs, install new bathroom and kitchen, full re-wire, fit new boiler - radiators and pipes, internal re-plaster and paint, lay new driveway and pave over front garden, bespoke woodwork and plaster work as necessary to repair and to complement original 1930’s features as appropriate.

It was very important to us that we found a builder who would:

Modernise, yet be sympathetic to key period features
Provide a full break down
Be reliable and approachable
Complete the work to a high standard

Remi and his team have done this and much more. Although, work is still in progress the standard of workmanship is outstanding, and the work is proceeding to schedule. This is the first time we have been involved with a substantial house renovation project and Remi has made it very straightforward for us. Any unexpected problems have been solved by the team without any fuss or bother. The attention to detail has been excellent. It can be hard to find a great builder. Remi and his team have surpassed our expectation and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

I placed my advert online with Rated People, the job required was too demolish my excising single garage and rebuild with new larger garage. Remi was the first tradesman to contact me by phone, he was very professional and polite. We agreed for him to come to my property the next day to review the building work required & to see exactly what was needed.

We quickly agreed the building specifications that would be required and the overall costs, I was impressed with Remi’s building knowledge and his quotation was competitive, he gave me the confidence and we therefore agreed to go ahead and start the build.

Remi and two of his team arrived a week later to start the demolition and build, there were two of the team here every single day over the six week build, including Saturdays, some days when new tradesmen were required, such as brick layers, plasters and electricians there could be as many as four or five different trades on site at any one time, the team turned up every morning before 08.30 and worked all day until 16.30 - 16.45. There was no hour or more for lunch and tea breaks every half hour, I made the team coffee a few times during the day.

It was clear to me from early on that I was really lucky and I had found a really good team, I had every confidence in what they were building, I could clearly see they knew what they were doing and they were doing it all well, they certainly took a pride in everything they were doing. I am certainly no builder myself, but you could see the quality and knowledge they had in all their work, from the demolition, footings, bricklaying, roofing, plastering and the electrics.

The work and time here at my property extended by a further three weeks, due to me asking Remi and his team to include creating a large new decking area, landscaped rear garden, laying a new turf lawn with a featured cobbled footpath and making new raised flower beds using 30+ railway sleepers. I then asked the team to lay new oak hardwood flooring throughout the whole of my house. Lastly, I had my kitchen refitted with new kitchen units, sink and old oak worktops. All professionally and superbly fitted.

So a great experience, no hassle, no stress, no disappointment. I am more than happy to recommend anyone to Remi and Iwanski Design CO. I am happy to supply photos and would be happy for any prospective new customer to view all the work carried out here by Remi at my house, garage & garden.

Iwanski Design Co. have helped us recently on a Berkeley Homes project. They have installed wooden protection around statues that have been given Grade II protected status. This has been a delicate project that was completed under the watchful eye of heritage directors and the local authorities.
